What is Premature Ejaculation (PE)

Premature ejaculation (PE) is the most common male sexual problem and affects men of all ages. It happens when a man is unable to control the timing of ejaculation, and ejaculates before he and/or his partner feels ready for this to happen which can lead to distress.

PE is most common amongst younger men, and can be associated with a lack of experience, lack of security with the situation in which they are having sex or it can stem from negative emotional experiences such as stress or trauma during childhood.

In older men, weak orgasms are a common symptom of PE and can be treated in consultation with a sexual health professional.

Like ED, it's nothing to be ashamed about and can be treated if you seek help.
